Shabbat & Holidays
Hillel offers a plurality of opportunities to immerse in Judaism, from weekly student-led Shabbat services and hearty, free Shabbat meals (evening and daytime) to High Holy Days services and meals for students and the community at large.
Weekly: student-led Shabbat services and free Shabbat meals, Shabbat Around Westwood (students host Shabbat in their homes), and Senior Speeches (reflections on lessons learned in Jewish community).
Holidays: High Holy Days services and meals, Rosh Chodesh gatherings, Hanukkah celebration and distribution of Hanukkah accoutrements, the Hillel Purim Pageant, and Kosher for Passover meals and seders.
