Student Life
Hillel at UCLA supports over 2,500 Jewish Bruins each year. Parent support is what guarantees that every Hillel program is free and fully accessible: Kosher food, Shabbat and holidays, mental health and wellness programs, spiritual care, trips to Israel, leadership development and empowerment.
Jewish leadership is the engine of Jewish communal vitality. Leadership potential is realized through practice and training, and Hillel provides students with meaningful opportunities to lead their peers. The Hillel Student Board is composed of highly engaged students whose passions and interests drive programming, ensuring that leadership remains student-led, staff-supported, and accessible to leaders at every stage.
Programs include Challah for Hunger, Bearing Witness (Shoah education and activism), the Freshman Leadership Council, the Persian Community at Hillel, Bruins Beyachad Reform Community, and the Transfer Undergraduate Students at Hillel.
